If you have a Ria e-Wallet, you can request a Prepaid Card, issued in partnership with MasterCard. Use this card to make ATM withdrawals and in-store and online payments. You use the e-Wallet balance to pay with this Prepaid Card.

You have 2 options to request a physical card:

Login to your Ria Wallet and submit a request. Your card will be mailed to the address you provide and will arrive in 5-7 business days.

Walk into any Ria store and request a card. You will receive a card instantly at the store.

You can choose from a physical and virtual card. Both options are available within the Ria app.

How many types of Prepaid Cards does Ria offer?

Physical cards cost RM10. You'll pay this with your e-Wallet balance when requesting the physical card from the app or at a store.

** This 6-digit PIN is used to perform all your card transactions. For security reasons, please don’t share your PIN with anyone.

At any point, you can't have more than 2 active cards, 1 of each type (1 physical and 1 virtual card).

How many Ria Prepaid Cards can I request?

Yes. You can request a new virtual card after deleting the previous card.

Can I get another virtual card, if the existing virtual card is deleted?

Card details are hidden for security purposes. Click on See details on the top right of the virtual card in the Ria app, and enter your 6-digit PIN. The card details will appear and can be used to make transactions.

Your Ria Prepaid Card is similar to a bank debit card, but the available services change based on card type.

You can use:

Physical cards for ATM withdrawals and in-store and online payments, both domestically and internationally.

Virtual cards for only online payments, both domestically and internationally.

What services are available using a Ria Prepaid Card?

All transactions performed using your Prepaid Card will be available within the Ria app as a part of your e-Wallet transactions. You can view transaction history for up to 180 days.

Are there any fees for using my Ria Prepaid Card?

Yes. There are limits on the number and amount of each transaction paid with a Prepaid Card. You can view these limits and fees below or in the Ria app.

Are there any limits on Ria Prepaid Card transactions?

Use the contactless feature to make an in-store purchase by tapping your card on the contactless reader. You don’t need to enter your Card PIN in a contactless transaction if the amount is RM250 or below.

What is the contactless feature of the Ria Prepaid Card?

Log in to the Ria app, click the card management option, and toggle on/off any domestic and international transactions.

How do I turn on/off the transactions for a Ria Prepaid Card?

If you need a replacement Card because your existing card is lost, stolen, or expired, you can request a new card from the app or go to a store. Replacement cards cost RM10.

If you need a replacement card because the card you received is damaged, call us at 1 800 882 077. Our Customer Care team will confirm and process the new card request. There's no fee for replacing a damaged card.

Log in to the Ria app, head to card management, and tap on the option Block card permanently. You’ll have to enter your 6-digit PIN to confirm the card blocking.

What should I do if my card is lost or stolen?

Locking your card will temporarily block it from being used for transactions. You can unlock it, and the card will work again.
